Received the mag belt kit quickly. I primarily bought as a simple sewing project but it turned out to be very nice belt. I like the magnetic buckle and how it easily connects and disconnects. The only reason for the four stars is the belt needs to be at least 1.5 inches wide. If RSBTR were to offer the webbing and the buckle in 1.5 inch widths, I would probably buy several. Thanks RSBTR.
Decided to give this belt kit a try. It was easy to sew up. All the necessary hook and loop was provided, plus some. The magnetic buckle is a solid worker. It has not failed or popped loose in any way. There was enough belt material provided that I was able to pick which part of the print I wanted and trim the excess. The "Forest Floor" print looks great and this has been a very good diy belt. Excellent function, beautiful print, and reasonable price. Winning.
I was interested in this belt because of the variety of patterns and the magnetic buckle. For the money,... why not. I can't wait to put it together. Hammock tarp project 1st!!!
The printing work is excellent and super good looking. My sewing machine has a hard time sewing through two layers of the webbing, plus the Velcro material, though. The sewing job therefore isn't so pretty and I ended up leaving the Velcro off. It will cinch up well enough without it. Webbing is excellent. Printing is beautiful. Belt is, meh... Maybe Ripstop could sell finished belts for a few dollars more????? I'd buy one. Hint Hint Hint.
