Netless hammock kit

I chose kit with 1.6 nylon which is a nice blend of weight and strength. Watch the video and it is a quick, easy project. Poly webbing with a sewn end loop combined with a soft shackle and tied off with a becket hitch is a simple way to suspend the hammock. This is my second kit which i highly recommend.

Thanks so much Mel! We're glad the Netless Hammock Kit was an easy DIY project. We'd love to see photos of some of your hammocks, be sure to tag us on instagram!

Great manageable reintroduction to myog

A while back I tried my hand at creating some gear with a shelter and quilt. I think I got a little over my head even though I'm happy how it turned out. I think it turned me off of myog. This kit is perfect for learning some basic stitching and reintroducing me to the hobby. It only took me a few hours over a couple days, but I loved it so much I got the hammock tarp kit and Im looking forward to do the underquit next!

Oh and I went camping the other day with my SO using our hammocks and they were way more comfy than my eno and tent. I think it convienced them to get into outdoor hobbies! So can't recommend this enough for a starting project.

We're glad you didn't totally give up Stephen! Quilts and Shelters can be tricky projects. The Netless Hammock Kit is the perfect thing to get your feet wet again. Hammock camping is the way to go! Let us know if you have any questions about making that underquilt, we're here to help and fall is just around the corner!

Sew easy! Went very quick. I’ve used the hammock for three nights; all were great for sleeping quality. Bundles up to about the size of a one-liter Nalgene bottle. Have not weighed it yet; my guess is 1-1/2# with two 20’ suspension straps. Great starter project.

Hammocks are one of the best beginner DIY Projects! It's an addictive hobby. Let us know if you have any questions about future projects, we're here to help!
