HyperD ^TM is our custom developed line of lightweight diamond grid nylon. Designed for superior performance and feel, HyperD is incredibly strong yet still very soft to the touch.

At 1.6 oz, this fabric fills the void between 1.9 oz and 1.1 oz weights when you're looking for something lighter while retaining maximum strength/durability.

This calendered version is DOWNPROOF and suitable for use in down gear/projects.

1.6 oz HyperD calendered is best used when you're looking for extra durability over the absolute lowest weight. Also check out our lighter 1.0 oz HyperD.

Very good product. It’s the strongest fabric I’ve found for my projects.

Good product

Used it to make a double bottom asym hammock, and it feels soft and nice. Windproof and breathable makes it a good Choice. Also easy to work with.

Buyer beware!

I ordered 1.6 oz calendered Hyper D - Woodland Camo. The colors of the fabric in the picture above are black, gray, and off white. The colors of the fabric I received are brown tones, and off white. I contacted customer service, and after some back and forth received the following message:

"While we strive to ensure that the photos on our site are as true as possible to the actual colors of the materials, we always recommend ordering samples if trying to match a specific color. The slightest difference in monitor and graphics settings can drastically affect the appearance of colors displayed on the website."

The difference in colors has nothing to do with my monitor settings! I received fabric in colors that I didn't order. I understand that mistakes happen when shipping the quantities that RBTR does, but I'm very unhappy with the lack of acknowledgement and ownership of this by RBTR. I was advised to send back the fabric for a refund, but as I live in Ireland the shipping charges are prohibitive.

Hey there Leontine, so sorry that you are unsatisfied with your purchase. Unfortunately, we do not carry any camouflage that is gray/black/off-white at this time. The photo on the website corresponding to your order is green and brown, but differences in screen brightness/resolution/color could cause the colors to appear otherwise.
