The quality of the printing is very good, and it's a nice pattern, but the colors don't match the official USMC MARPAT all that well. It's fine by me but don't expect it to be almost the same as the real thing. The edge of the fabric is pretty rough, with fraying and holes poked through it about 1 1/2 inches from the edge, so you will have to cut a not-insignificant portion of the fabric away if you don't want holes in whatever you're making. The holes and fraying show in the pictures though so they're not trying to trick you or anything.
Used this to make a lightweight hammock for backpacking. Project came out great and I'm really pleased with the 1.1 oz poly. Love the Marpat Camo pattern.
Awesome! Thanks for the review Mark. Feel free to share photos of your hammock, we'd love to see!
Having been in the Marine Corps, I developed a first hand love of how effective this camouflage pattern is. The quality of the print is quite outstanding, reaching out almost to the very edge of the fabric. I used this material to make a gathered end hammock with a removable top cover for use during hunting season. Packs down super small and is very light weight. Super satisfied, as always!!
Hi David, Thanks for the review! Enjoy the MARPAT!
Purchased two marpat items, suited well for my purpose.
Looking forward to the desert marpat.
All of our fabrics showed up nice and neatly folded with laser cut edges. All fabrics were off excellent quality and we love how they held up while being worked. Shipping was a little faster than estimated. Great experience, would definitely recommend. I will be giving RBTR my business again in future projects.
