VX-15 material

The VX-15 is an awesome weight for a lightweight backpack. So far its very easy to sew using microtex needles and 60 weight poly thread. Its unlike most other materials as it is stiff like butcher paper. It stays very flat and hard to do curves but if your pattern is pretty simple, its really easy to sew. Great for waterproof backpacks and dry bags.

Great Fabric

Made a bike frame bag out of VX15. This is a great fabric for the task as it is stiff enough to hold its shape, but not too heavy. Would definitely use it again for a similar project. Thanks to other reviews (for this, as well as other weights of X-Pac), I had fair warning that this fabric would get permanently visible crease marks from shipping folded. I expect normal wear and tear to make the folds blend in after a few uses. However, if you have a project that needs to look perfect, say to give as a gift, or for sale, definitely pony up to ship on the roll, as suggested by RSBTR. Great service from RSBTR.

Good material

I ordered to make my own gear, and could make some Sacoches, and Tote bag.
This material is gd, however I was concerned about the crease folded.

Hi DY. Thanks for the review. The folds in the material are unavoidable unless we ship on a roll, but they shouldn't effect the strength of the material.
