Was easy to sew. Made a hammock and am really happy with how it turned out. Very soft to the touch. Am looking forward to using it.
1.8 oz AIRWAVE™ Hybrid really does make an awesome hammock! We're happy to hear that you found it easy to sew and work with. Enjoy your new MYOG hammock!
I made a hammock out of it, really strong material with high friction, feels like laying inside a pike blanket. I think it's ideal for cold nights
We're glad you found a hammock fabric perfect for your needs! This is definitely a go-to one for making your own hammock. We'd love to see photos of your creation, here is a link if you'd like to share any https://forms.gle/Veg5WY3ArRUr1A3x5

Thanks for your review! Enjoy the 1.8 oz AIRWAVE!
So, living in a hot and humidity environment, I wanted a hammock that was breathable. That is what I got when I made it with this. As others have stated, it's not very slippery, when you get in it, you tend to have a bit of a harder time moving around if wearing much clothing. Living in Hawaii I sleep in just shorts, and don't use an underquilt very often either. Usually just a sheet over me. Sleeping in just shorts allows me to move around as much as I want. This is my nightly Sleeping hammock now days. Since making my first airwave hammock I have had 3 other friends ask me to make them ones from it as well. I didn't seem to have any problems sewing it, and its so dang comfy. Love it, and can't wait to go crawl into it for the night.
Thanks so much for the review Charles! We love the feel of Airwave too, it's so soft! If you have photos of your hammock in Hawaii we'd love to see! Happy hammocking!
