Came out great and I am amazed at how light and compact it becomes but at the same time it guards my investment in my quilt on my hammock and gives me a little more margin of protection in warmth.
Thanks for leaving a review Stephen! We're happy to hear that your UQ protector came out well with the 0.56 oz MEMBRANE 7! Happy hammocking :)
Made an underquilt protector and this product was the perfect solution for it. Highly wind and water resistant, yet still breathable. I originally made one out of 1.1 silpoly but had a condensation issue within 30 minutes of use in temps in the upper 20s (F). It was enough condensation that I had to remove it for fear that it would compromise the insulation ability of the down in the underquilt. I used this one for three nights down to 4 degrees (F) and it not only gave me a nice bump in the insulation abilities of the underquilt by cutting out the wind, there was zero condensation present each morning.
Thanks for leaving a review Mike! We are so glad to hear that that 0.56 oz MEMBRANE 7 was the perfect solution for your UQ protector. Your winter hammock set up looks legit, thanks for sharing!
Amazing fabric perfect for my project . Super thin and light
Thanks for leaving us a review Chris! We would love to see a photo of what you made with the 0.56 MEMBRANE! Here is a link if you'd like to share any pictures with us https://forms.gle/pkpijCn6aejEyB93A
I was hoping to use this to cover my I.F.O remote control airplane. The original covering was 1/2oz per yard icarex. This fabric just doesn't fit this particular model.
It's just a bit to stretchy for my liking. It will work but I couldn't get it smooth and I tried numerous times.
So good stuff, just not the right choice for kites or planes.
Hey Adam, we're sorry this fabric didn't work right for your project. 0.56 oz MEMBRANE 7 Ripstop Nylon is typically used for quilts and garment lining. If you're still looking for a fabric, email us at email@example.com and we would be happy to help you.
Great feel, light as a feather and appears to be tough as nails. I made a quilt with Apex 3.6 oz insulation. Turned out really well. But be warned this material is so light and smooth, it’s hard to keep everything lined up correctly even using pins and clips. As always, the right materials were shipped the next day and arrived sooner than expected. Great service!
We love to hear that, thanks so much for your review Ted! We'd love to see photos of your summer quilt, here is a link if you'd like to send us any pictures of your creation. https://forms.gle/1xNyCSfYJ976vwS9A
