Not anyone's fault, but unfortunately the ring was much thicker than expected, so that I couldn't easily pass the TSA-approved lock I planned to use with it around it, so the entire package will go unused (I only needed 2 but had to buy 12). While the cost was low, standard shipping was twice its price, so altogether a loss for me. Wish I could have just bought a pair and maybe paid less shipping as a result... I wonder whether the 3/4" ring would have been thinner and thus more suitable ?
I like D-rings that are a little thinner for my projects which do not need a lot of strength.
