An unavoidable problem for us at RBTR is  fabric remnants. These random pieces usually get created when we hit splices in rolls or miscut something. After all, nobody's perfect.

But in this case, our problem is your profit. All of these pre-cut pieces are marked down 15% from regular price. Score!

The available remnants will change often as we sell some and create more. Check this page for periodic updates.

Sign up for our Remnant VIP Club  HERE... No daily site checking and no missed deals on the fabrics/materials you want.

* NOTE - All fabric remnants are 1st quality goods.

      Happy with Remnants

My only complaint with the remnants and 2nds, I would like a few more words with the defect on the 2nds. This would elevate me from spreading yards of fabric to find the defect. Especially in breathable fabrics that would be used for hammocks, for example. Just to know if it will bare the weight. Other than that, I know what I am getting and have no complaints. They are very good for making a cheaper prototype without the stress of ruining a good piece of fabric. Thanks. Last thing. Update the listing more often. I would buy more.

Thanks for your review and suggestion! I will definitely relay this to the product team and see what we can do in that regards. Listing more remnants is an ongoing project, so there is definitely more to come! As always, reach out if you have any questions. We're here to help!

      Bomb Ass Hammock Fabric

After tent camping for 27 years, I have started the deep spiral down the hammock camping rabbit hole. Rather than purchase one really nice hammock, I bought enough really nice fabric for two hammocks, minimalist tarp, bug net, and UQP.

Last weekend I finished hammock #1 and got the best sleep of my life. 11', 2.2 Hex 70 XL with W folds, whipping, and knotty mods. This thing is palatial for my 5'4" frame. The hex pattern ripstop has an incredibly comfortable flex on the diagonal, and the fabric has a really nice hand.

Looking forward to making tons more gear with top notch materials and hardware. Who needs REI when you've got RBTR and a sewing machine.

Welcome to the DIY Hammock Club! Your projects sound awesome, we'd love to see photos of your set-up! The 2.2 Hex 70 is an awesome fabric for hammocking. Enjoy!

Used this to make a down pillow for my wife, she loves the custom low loft and satiny feel, used with a cotton pillow case.

Thanks for the review! We're glad the remnant worked well for your down pillow, Enjoy!
