$5.00 /half yd
To make a “fly” for my portaledge I was happy to finally find a place to order ripstop fabric. I needed a single piece of 6,5 Meters to make. Single seam fly. Unfortunately it became a bit expansively since ordering from the US the shipping and import taxes cost are higher than the fabric cost. When trying to order the 6,5 meter I had to convert it to “yards” (something we don’t use in mainland Europe) I found out that I needed about 7 yards 6.5 meters. When the package arrived after paying additional import taxes I was very disappointed to find out only half of the needed amount arrived. I did not realize that the ripstop was sold by “half yard” lengths. I had to double
Check the bill 3 times to find out what went wrong...So I payed double the price in shipping and import taxes for a piece of fabric that was only half the length I needed to have. A stupid mistake from my side but unhappy anyway. Would it be possible to have the amount in Meters on the website to?
Hi Dennis, I'm sorry for the problems you've had with your order. I will talk it over with our team and find out if this is something that can be done. Please reach out to us at Sales@Ripstopbytheroll.com and I'll be happy to point you to some articles concerning this. Thanks for the review.
I got this fabric to line a wool picnic blanket. It is burly and easy to work with. No more wet grass and pine needles poking through!
Perfect fabric for our sprinter van curtain project. Speedy delivery New Zealand, and good value
Great product we orders this material for covering our pontoon boat seats worked out great!
It sews easily, seems pretty bomb-proof, yet stuffs down to quite a small package for stowage. The colour I chose, Foliage, looked to be a bit too dark for a tent, but it's really quite light from underneath, and doesn't gain too much heat when the sun hits it. Haven't had it in a storm yet, but I'm betting it's going to be awesome.
