Great Material So Far

I have not made anything out of this material so far, but I am going to make some hats out if it. It appears to be a quality material that should function well for that purpose. If I remember to, I will try to update this review to let you know if there is anything unexpected from the material.

Thanks so much Shawn! We love this 1.6 poly ripstop. We'd love to also see photos of your finished project. Let us know how it works out for you!

Breathable?

The fabric is good quality and tough, not coated, but also not really breathable to blow air through. It is fine for my purpose.

Thanks for the review Sylvia! Let us know how we can help with any future projects. Enjoy!

Mostly good

Perhaps 10% of the gray portions of the pattern have a weird washed-out look...almost looks like the dye didn't set. Anyway, it's camoflauge, and not particularly noticeable. It's only slightly lighter than 1.9oz nylon, but it feels and behaves way differently, with way more static electricity to contend with. I'd say the "wrong" side of the material is about 80% as dark / saturated as the top side, which doesn't seem to bad. Note that this material does not have the periodic heavier thread that you'll see in typical ripstop nylon. Then again, it's polyester..better UV resistance, and less long-term stretching.
